Once an agency completes the application, the CFAI Program Manager will provide follow-up information. Then the agency has its representatives attend the CFAI Basic Workshop Series, which will make the accreditation manager better able to conduct in-service training with department personnel and select the agency's internal self-assessment team. We recommend that the agency head and designated accreditation manager, at a minimum, attend these workshops.
