The Center for Public Safety Excellence (CPSE) and The Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) have entered into a strategic partnership to provide GIS technology to support the fire service. The CPSE-ESRI partnership aims to assist decision makers across the emergency services spectrum by improving the availability of critical information about their communities.

Thru this partnership CPSE has been authorized to resell ArcGIS ArcView and extensions to eligible CPSE members as part of a comprehensive program to encourage the more effective utilization of GIS for the Fire Service. CPSE and ESRI have designed a set of bundles and value added programs to allow the fire service community more cost affordable access to GIS.

ArcGIS ArcView

ArcView is a full-featured geographic information system (GIS) software for visualizing, managing, creating, and analyzing geographic data. Using ArcView, you can understand the geographic context of your data, allowing you to see relationships and identify patterns in new ways.

ArcGIS Spatial Analyst

ArcGIS Spatial Analyst provides a broad range of powerful spatial modeling and analysis features. The user can create, query, map, and analyze cell-based raster data; perform integrated raster/vector analysis; derive new information from existing data; query information across multiple data layers; and fully integrate cell-based raster data with traditional vector data sources.

ArcGIS Network Analyst

ArcGIS Network Analyst is a powerful extension that provides network-based spatial analysis including routing, travel directions, closest facility, and service area analysis. Using the sophisticated network data model in ArcGIS Network Analyst, users can easily build networks from their geographic information system (GIS) data and dynamically model realistic network conditions.
